All findings are covered by medical confidentiality and belong solely to the person examined. Neither management nor HR receives laboratory values, diagnoses, imaging or irregular findings, and that holds even when the company pays for the examination. The company only learns that an appointment took place, because it settles the invoice. Where explicitly requested, and from a group size that allows no inference about individuals, we can provide an anonymised and aggregated analysis, for example on the distribution of cardiovascular risk factors across the team. That analysis contains no personal data. Without this clear separation the offer would not work, because employees would rightly decline it. From what company size does this make sense? + There is no fixed minimum. In practice there are two typical setups. The first is individual executive check-ups for leadership and key people, which works from a single person upwards and is often the entry point. The second is programs for teams, where several employees attend spread across a period. From around ten people, scheduling can be organised in blocks, which noticeably simplifies coordination for everyone involved, and from that scale an anonymised overall analysis also becomes meaningful. For smaller companies, starting with individuals is usually the more pragmatic route. What fits your structure is best clarified in a conversation. How are the costs treated for tax purposes? + Where the company covers the costs, the expenditure is generally deductible as a business expense. For employees the decisive question is whether a taxable benefit in kind arises. Under section 3 no. 34 of the German Income Tax Act, health promotion benefits remain free of tax and social security contributions up to 600 euros per person per year, provided they meet the statutory requirements. A comprehensive check-up program sits above that threshold. For examinations that are predominantly in the company’s interest, for example for executives carrying particular responsibility, a different assessment may apply. How this should be judged in your case belongs with your tax advisors. We issue invoices so that the allocation is unambiguous. How is it organised? + It starts with a conversation to establish how many people will take part, which depth of program fits and over what period appointments should be spread. After that we handle scheduling directly with employees, so your HR department does not become a booking office and no health information passes through their hands. Each person gets their examination day at our site in Berlin-Charlottenburg, where all diagnostics happen in one place, with no referrals and no waiting between appointments. The medical strategy consultation follows within two to three weeks. Billing runs collectively through the company. For employees based outside Berlin, travel can be combined with the appointment. Which programs are suitable for employees? + For most teams Core is the right entry point. With 25 functional examinations and 89 laboratory biomarkers in one day it delivers a solid baseline without the time commitment and cost of the larger programs. Evolve, with full-body MRI and liquid biopsy, is typically relevant for executives from around 45 onwards or where a family history is known. Ultimate, with year-round support from a dedicated health manager, is usually chosen for a small group carrying high responsibility. Many companies combine these: Core across the board, a deeper tier for particular roles.
