This includes cardiopulmonary exercise testing to determine your VO2max, body plethysmography for lung function, AI-assisted skin cancer screening and ultrasound of the thyroid, abdomen, vessels and heart. The medical strategy consultation is part of the program, not an add-on: a specialist places every finding in the context of your situation and works out with you which two or three topics take priority now. What you leave with is not a stack of numbers but a written prevention plan. Core costs 1,900 euros. How does Core differ from a check-up at your GP? + The statutory German check-up from age 35 essentially covers blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose, kidney values and urine, plus a history-taking conversation. That is useful and catches common risks, but it stays deliberately narrow. Core measures 89 laboratory values instead of a handful and adds functional diagnostics that the statutory catalogue does not provide for: how your cardiovascular system performs under load, how your lungs and vessels are doing. Core does not replace your GP and is not meant to. It provides a broader baseline that complements your primary care. Worth knowing: more measurements also mean more incidental findings that need following up. That is exactly why the medical consultation is part of it. Is Core enough or do I need Evolve straight away? + Core is the right entry point for most people, particularly if you want a structured picture of your health for the first time. You get the baseline without committing to maximum depth immediately. Evolve becomes relevant if you have a family history, if you are older than roughly 50, or if you want the structural picture from a full-body MRI and the liquid biopsy for cancer early detection. Wanting guidance across the year also speaks for Evolve, since follow-ups are included there. What suits you depends on your history. The most honest way to settle it is the free intro call, before you commit to anything. How does the day work and when do I get my results? + You come to our rooms in Berlin-Charlottenburg in a fasted state. The day takes around six hours, during which all examinations happen one after another in one place, with no referrals and no waiting between appointments. Breaks and food are taken care of. Some results are available the same day; the full laboratory analysis takes longer. The medical strategy consultation usually takes place within two to three weeks, once all findings are in. There we go through every relevant value and you receive your written prevention plan. If something comes up in the meantime that cannot wait, we contact you immediately. Does health insurance cover the cost of Core? + Core costs 1,900 euros and is a self-pay service. German statutory health insurance does not cover it, because the scope goes beyond the statutory prevention catalogue. With private insurers and civil-servant schemes it depends on your policy: individual components are often reimbursable where there is a medical indication, the full program rarely is. We bill according to the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ), so you receive an invoice you can submit to your insurer. We cannot promise reimbursement, because your insurer decides that.
