How early cancer detection works at YEARS.
Whole-body MRI
High-resolution imaging from head to toe. Can reveal tumours, lymph node changes and organ changes. Without radiation. Available from Evolve.
Liquid biopsy
Analysis of cell-free tumour DNA in blood. Can detect molecular indications of cancer alongside imaging. Multi-cancer early detection with 89% sensitivity for stage 2+ and 99% specificity — it does not replace established cancer screening.

Biomarker analysis

YEARS performs cancer screening — that is, early detection. We identify abnormalities that may indicate cancer. A final diagnosis requires further investigation (biopsy, specialist examination), which we coordinate where needed.
A blood test that detects cell-free tumour DNA. It can find cancer signals before a tumour becomes visible on MRI. Currently one of the most advanced methods in early cancer detection. Available from the Evolve programme.
No. MRI is painless and radiation-free. The blood draw is a normal blood sample. No invasive procedures.
No — and it is not meant to. Statutory screening (skin checks, colonoscopy, mammography) remains important. YEARS supplements it in areas that statutory insurance does not cover.
Annually. Tumours can develop between screenings. Annual checks increase the chance of early detection.
Your YEARS physician discusses the finding with you in person. Where there is a suspicion, we coordinate referral to oncologists or specialists. Most cancers are treatable when caught at an early stage — which is exactly why we screen.
