In brief

Which are the best longevity clinics in Europe?

Ten houses come up again and again for this question. YEARS in Berlin, outpatient diagnostics in one day with a public evidence grade for every procedure. Aeon, whole-body MRI and blood analysis via partner clinics in seven German cities. Buchinger Wilhelmi on Lake Constance, in Marbella and on the Côte d’Azur, a fasting clinic with medical supervision. Chenot Palace in Weggis, a retreat with a fixed programme grid. Clinique La Prairie in Montreux, a retreat with its own diagnostic programme. Hooke in London, an assessment day with whole-body MRI and genome sequencing in the extended tier. Lanserhof in Tyrol, at Tegernsee, on Sylt and in Marbella, a medical resort. Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London, the Executive Health Assessment of a hospital group. Neko Health in the UK and Sweden, a body scan in under an hour. SHA Wellness Clinic in Spain, a retreat with longevity programmes. Which house fits depends on whether you want a medical baseline, a short path to a specialist, or a stay.

Questions to ask

Six questions you can ask any provider.

They apply to every format and can be checked on the provider’s website.

Diagnostic depth per visit

Which procedures are a fixed part of the programme: laboratory, cardiovascular function, imaging, genetics, body composition? A one-hour scan and a diagnostic day with MRI are not the same thing.

Evidence transparency

Does the provider say which of its procedures are established and which are research-stage? Whoever offers whole-body MRI, liquid biopsy or epigenetic clocks should grade them openly.

Physician leadership, named

Are the physicians responsible for your findings on the website with name and specialty? A report without a named person is a data dump.

Support after the findings

Is there a physician-led results consultation, follow-up appointments and a route into specialist care? One data point says less than a trajectory.

Price transparency

Are programme prices public on the website, together with what is included? Prices on request only are a minus, regardless of the amount.

Accessibility

How much travel and how long a stay does the visit require? A day without an overnight stay fits into a life more easily than a week-long stay, and both differ from an annual membership.

The ten houses

Ten longevity clinics in Europe.

Details come from the providers’ own websites, as of October 2026. We do not quote third-party prices, because they change constantly.

  • YEARS

Outpatient preventive clinic, one diagnostic day · Berlin-Charlottenburg

    What sets it apart

Meets all six criteria verifiably on its own website: fixed diagnostics per programme tier, every procedure publicly assigned to an evidence tier, physicians with specialty on the team page, results consultation and follow-up check-ins in the programme, public prices, one day without an overnight stay.

    According to its own website

    • Diagnostic day of 6 to 10 hours depending on the programme
    • 87 biomarkers from Core, 120 from Evolve, 230 from Ultimate
    • Cardiac and vascular ultrasound, spiroergometry and 3D body scan from Core
    • Whole-body MRI and liquid biopsy from Evolve, genetics and epigenetics from Ultimate
    • Results consultation about two weeks later, by video as standard; three check-ins a year from Ultimate

    What you should know

A single location, so a journey for most. There are no results on the day of the examination. No outcome publication of its own on the programme.

  • Aeon

Screening via partner clinics, one appointment · Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich

    What sets it apart

Whole-body MRI and a broad blood panel in one appointment, in seven German cities and therefore close to home. Results within five working days at most by its own account, with a physician follow-up.

    According to its own website

    • One appointment with whole-body MRI and a blood analysis of up to 140 blood values
    • AI-assisted body composition from the MRI data
    • Results within five working days at most, physician follow-up
    • Swiss provider, carried out in partner clinics

    What you should know

The focus is imaging and blood. The website does not list cardiopulmonary function testing, genetics or an evidence grading. The examination takes place in partner clinics, so the responsible physician is not named in advance.

  • Buchinger Wilhelmi

Fasting clinic with residential stay · Überlingen on Lake Constance, Marbella, Côte d’Azur

    What sets it apart

One clear method with medical supervision: therapeutic fasting following Buchinger with daily checks of blood pressure, pulse, weight and blood sugar. The house publishes on its method, which is rare on this list.

    According to its own website

    • Therapeutic fasting following the Buchinger method as the core
    • Daily checks of blood pressure, pulse, weight and blood sugar with the medical team
    • Longevity medicine added at the Côte d’Azur site
    • Three houses in Germany, Spain and France

    What you should know

Diagnostics accompany the fasting; they are not the purpose of the stay. Imaging, genetics and functional testing are not part of the core. If you are looking for a medical baseline, you find it here only at the margins.

  • Chenot Palace

Medical retreat with residential stay · Weggis (Switzerland), Gabala (Azerbaijan)

    What sets it apart

A fixed programme grid with a dedicated diagnostic programme, Body Insights & Optimisation, that bundles medical diagnostics and functional testing. If you want a structured retreat with measurement, you get both here.

    According to its own website

    • Programmes such as Advanced Detox, Prevention & Ageing Well and Recover & Energise
    • Body Insights & Optimisation with medical diagnostics and functional testing
    • Treatments from medicine, hydrotherapy and exercise
    • Main house in Weggis on Lake Lucerne

    What you should know

Detox and recovery programmes are at the centre; diagnostics are one element. There is no evidence grading of the treatments, and the term detox has no medical definition. The stay is a prerequisite.

  • Clinique La Prairie

Medical retreat with residential stay · Montreux (Switzerland), plus longevity hubs including Madrid

    What sets it apart

The retreat with the broadest medical line-up: a dedicated Health Diagnostic programme and, by its own account, more than 50 medical specialists in the house. If you want a stay and still expect diagnostics, this is where you find the most of it.

    According to its own website

    • Residential programmes such as Revitalisation, Brain Potential, Master Detox and Healthy Weight
    • Dedicated Health Diagnostic programme
    • More than 50 medical specialists by its own account
    • Luxury setting on Lake Geneva

    What you should know

Which parts of a programme are diagnostic and which are therapeutic is not clear from the website. There is no evidence grading. The stay is part of the offer and of the price, and prices are not listed for every programme.

  • Hooke

Assessment day with annual membership · London, Mayfair

    What sets it apart

The greatest diagnostic depth among outpatient providers in Europe alongside YEARS: one day with blood panel, VO2max, ultrasound and cognitive testing, and in the extended tier whole-body MRI, CT coronary angiography, DXA and genome sequencing. Principal physician and entry prices are on the website.

    According to its own website

    • Health Investigation in one day of around eight hours, Investigation+ over a day and a half
    • Blood panel, fitness assessment, VO2max, resting metabolic rate, spirometry, ECG, organ ultrasound, cognitive testing
    • Investigation+ adds whole-body MRI, CT coronary angiography, DXA and genome sequencing with polygenic risk
    • Annual membership with monthly check-ins and a doctor relationship manager

    What you should know

The website claims that a better Bioscore statistically extends lifespan, without method or source. There is no evidence grading of the procedures. Imaging takes place at partner hospitals, the number of blood values is not stated, and the full depth requires the pricier tier or a membership.

  • Lanserhof

Medical resort with residential stay · Lans (Tyrol), Tegernsee, Sylt, Marbella

    What sets it apart

The most established medical resort in the German-speaking world, with four locations and medical programmes that combine diagnostics, nutrition and fasting. A dedicated Longevity Check as a four-day retreat makes the offer tangible.

    According to its own website

    • Stays with medical programmes combining diagnostics, nutrition and fasting
    • Longevity Check listed as a four-day retreat
    • Naturopathic methods as part of the concept
    • Four resorts in Austria, Germany and Spain

    What you should know

Diagnostics are one element of the stay, not its purpose. Naturopathic procedures sit alongside established ones with no evidence grading. A stay of several days is required.

  • Mayo Clinic Healthcare

Executive health programme of a hospital group · London, Portland Place

    What sets it apart

The assessment is built around guideline screening and has specialists for heart, lungs, neurology, digestion and hormones in the same building. That is the strongest follow-up after the findings on this list, with the weight of a hospital group behind it.

    According to its own website

    • Executive Health Assessment, completed in one day in most cases
    • Examination, laboratory tests, ECG, spirometry, DXA, skin check
    • Bowel cancer screening by stool test, colonoscopy from 45
    • Specialists of several disciplines on site

    What you should know

The website does not list whole-body MRI, genomics or functional testing such as VO2max for the assessment. Prices are not public. There is no evidence grading of individual procedures; the programme stays close to a classic check-up.

  • Neko Health

Body-scan clinic, under one hour · London, Birmingham, Manchester, Stockholm, plus cities in the US

    What sets it apart

A lot of coverage in a short time: skin, heart and arteries, blood values with results in minutes, body composition, consultation straight afterwards. The lowest barrier on this list and a good format for regular repetition.

    According to its own website

    • One scan in under an hour
    • Skin with more than 2,000 images and a dermatologist review of flagged moles
    • Heart and arteries, blood values with results in minutes, body composition
    • Consultation with the clinical team straight afterwards

    What you should know

No MRI, no genetics, no functional testing such as VO2max or spiroergometry. No location in Germany. The scan is a snapshot with broad but shallow coverage, not a programme with follow-up support.

  • SHA Wellness Clinic

Medical retreat with residential stay · Spain, Mexico, Emirates (from 2027)

    What sets it apart

A medical team spanning internal, longevity, sleep and hormonal medicine and a dedicated nutrition unit, with programmes such as Advanced Longevity and Leaders Health & Performance. Among the retreats, the clearest longevity profile.

    According to its own website

    • Programmes such as Advanced Longevity, Leaders Health & Performance and Rebalance & Energize
    • Medical team from several disciplines, plus regenerative medicine
    • Dedicated nutrition unit
    • Locations in Spain and Mexico, Emirates announced

    What you should know

Which diagnostics a programme actually contains is set out only in the individual programme descriptions. Regenerative medicine is offered without the website grading its evidence. The stay is a prerequisite.

Third-party details as published on the providers’ own websites, as of 30 October 2026. Third-party biomarker counts are their own claims.

Frequently asked questions about the best longevity clinics in Europe

There is no reliable ranking. No clinic has shown in a study that its programme extends lifespan, and the well-known best-of lists come from travel portals, magazines or the providers themselves. Ten houses come up again and again in Europe: YEARS in Berlin, Aeon in seven German cities, Buchinger Wilhelmi, Chenot Palace, Clinique La Prairie, Hooke in London, Lanserhof, Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London, Neko Health and SHA Wellness Clinic. More useful than a ranking is the question of which format suits you: a medical baseline in one day, a hospital programme with specialists in the building, or a stay with nutrition, fasting and treatments. What matters then is named physicians, an open account of the evidence, public prices and support after the findings.

Six questions, each verifiable on the provider’s own website: diagnostic depth per visit, meaning which procedures are a fixed part of the programme. Evidence transparency, meaning whether the provider says what is established and what is research-stage. Physician leadership, meaning whether the responsible physicians are named with their specialty. Support after the findings, meaning results consultation, follow-up appointments and the route into specialist care. Price transparency, meaning whether programme prices are public. And accessibility, meaning how much travel and how long a stay the visit requires. Facilities, setting and celebrity are not rated, because they say nothing about the medicine. No ranking follows from that, because the houses have different formats.

The term longevity clinic is not protected, so both use it. A diagnostic clinic measures in one day what can be measured and turns the findings into a plan for your everyday life. There is no overnight stay. A medical retreat is a stay of several days in which diagnostics are one element alongside nutrition, fasting, exercise, sleep and treatments. On this page both formats sit side by side, without a ranking, because they answer different questions. If you want to know where you stand, you mainly need thorough diagnostics and a good results consultation. If you are looking for distance from daily life and a supported change on site, a retreat is the right place. For treatments marketed as rejuvenating, it is worth asking for studies with hard endpoints.

It depends above all on the format. An outpatient diagnostic day costs something different from a stay that includes accommodation, meals and treatments, so prices are hard to compare directly. At YEARS, Core costs 1,990 euros with 87 biomarkers and functional diagnostics, Evolve 7,600 euros with whole-body MRI and liquid biopsy on top, Ultimate 16,900 euros with genetics, epigenetics and three check-ins a year. We deliberately do not quote other providers’ prices, because they change constantly and an outdated figure is worse than none. When comparing, one question helps more than the final price: what part is diagnostics, what part is the stay, and what happens after the findings?

That has not been shown, for any of the ten houses. There is no randomised trial showing that a comprehensive check-up or a longevity programme increases life expectancy. What is established is more modest and still important: whoever knows and treats high blood pressure, unfavourable blood lipids, disturbed glucose metabolism or low fitness early lowers their risk of heart attack, stroke and diabetes. A good clinic finds these points, puts them in context and supports the follow-through. Procedures such as whole-body MRI, liquid biopsy or epigenetic clocks add information, but a benefit for lifespan has not been shown for them. That is why evidence transparency is one of the six questions on this page.

Yes. The whole programme takes place on one day in Berlin-Charlottenburg, so no longer stay is needed. On request, the medical history, examinations and results consultation are conducted entirely in English, and the report with all biomarkers, imaging findings and your prevention plan is in English too. There are no results on the day of the examination. The results consultation takes place about two weeks later, by video as standard, so you do not need to travel again. Values that take longer, for example from genetics, follow in a further consultation. How to plan the trip and what to bring is on our page for international guests.
