Why prevention – and why YEARS?
For lifestyle-related diseases, prevention is the most important approach. It is about more years of life, but also about preserving healthy and active years. At YEARS, I get to work with people who want to take their health into their own hands – that fulfils me every day.
What do you wish more people understood about health?
How health can be maintained and regained in general as well as individually – and that translating this into daily life is genuinely possible.
What have you learned from your patients?
The power of belief and will. I have seen people in very poor condition who still achieved things others considered impossible. A clear goal in mind and the firm will to reach it can sometimes move mountains.
